Meet the Teachers
Fantastic First Grade Teachers
Ms. Friedberg
Welcome to First Grade! My name is Stacy Friedberg, and I have been teaching Elementary and Early Childhood Education for 23 years. This school year marks my 9th year as a Sunset Ridge Hawk.
I am an Arizona native, a graduate of ASU (Go Devils!) and have two grown kids who are both DVUSD Alumni. My daughter is a nurse in Colorado, and just got engaged this summer. This means I will be doing a lot of wedding DIY in my spare time! My son is going to college at PVCC and will earn his Associates Degree in December. Crafting, camping, and reading are some of my favorite hobbies, along with spending time with my family and three adorable dogs.
I am looking forward to a fantastic school year, and can not wait to meet your kiddos!

My name is Ashley Puccio and this is my fifth year teaching! I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Special Education. Before teaching, I was a paraprofessional for two and a half years. I have an almost two year old son who brings me so much joy! I enjoy reading, embroidery, spending time outside, and anything that involves an iced vanilla latte!
