Meet the Teachers
Mrs. Singh

Hi! I'm Mrs. Singh, and I’m thrilled to be starting my first year of teaching. After moving to Arizona from California nearly four years ago, I began working as a paraprofessional. That experience encouraged me to return to school and finish what I had started years ago. Over the past two years, I’ve been working toward my degree in Elementary Education at Grand Canyon University.
My goal is to support each student’s growth—academically, socially, and emotionally—by encouraging them, building their confidence, and celebrating every success, big or small. I believe every student is unique and deserves the chance to shine.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband, Jon, and my son, Austin, definitely keep me on my toes and make sure life is always an adventure. We love being outdoors, discovering new places, and attending sporting events together. I also love a good laugh, am fluent in sarcasm, and will never say no to tacos.
I'm so excited for the opportunity to join Sunset Ridge in this new role and to be part of such an amazing and supportive team.
Mrs. Warner

Hello! My name is Mrs. Warner, and I am so excited to be part of the 4th grade team this year! This will be my first full year of teaching, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I had the opportunity to teach for six months last year, and I absolutely loved being part of this school community. Before that, I worked as a substitute teacher for 3.5 years, which helped me realize how much I love being in the classroom full-time.
I’m passionate about creating a positive, encouraging learning environment where every student feels valued and supported. I’m looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and plenty of fun!
Outside of school, I’m a proud wife and mom of three wonderful kids. My family and I enjoy spending time outdoors—especially hiking, playing games, and cheering each other on at sporting events.
I can’t wait to get to know all of you and make this an amazing year together!
Mrs. Wheeler

Hi! I am Mrs. Wheeler and I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade at Sunset Ridge again! I have been teaching since 2012 and with Deer Valley since 2022. I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree with an emphasis. I have taught several grades, but 4th grade is my favorite! My favorite part of teaching is watching students grow and being able to help them meet their goals.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 boys. We love to hike and swim in the pool. I also love to relax with a good book.
