I graduated from GCU back in 1999 with my BA in Elementary Education K-8. I taught Pre-K for 12 years, 8 years in Kindergarten, two years in 2nd grade, one year in 4th grade and I am now going back to Kindergarten this fall. This is my 8th year in Deer Valley School District and I LOVE what I do. This will be my first year at Sunset Ridge and I am SO excited!
I live in Anthem and love the people and this amazing community! I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, running, hiking, teaching, and drinking coffee and energy drinks.
My name is Jeanne Spak and I am excited to be teaching kindergarten here at Sunset Ridge. This is my 26th year teaching and I have spent 23 of those years in Kindergarten! I graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison with my degree in Early Childhood Education. I love teaching kindergarten and helping students build a strong foundation for their learning.
When I am not teaching, I like to spend time with my family. I have a wonderful husband and 2 beautiful children who keep me very busy. My daughter is a freshman at U of A and my son is a freshman at Boulder Creek. We enjoy swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, camping, hiking and going to the beach.
I look forward to getting to know my kindergartners and their families. I know we will have an amazing year together!
